Daywise Itinerary:
Day 01 LONDON MATLOCK HEIGHTS OF ABRAHAM – BAKEWELL BUXTON (380KMS)
This morning, meet your tour director and commence your journey towards peak district. Drive to
the town of Matlock. Take a cable car up to the Heights of Abraham (optional tour – ticket not
included). Here enjoy the cavern tours and amazing scenery from the hilltop. Later visit the town of
Bakewell. Try the well know Bakewell Pudding as we stroll along the town. Continue to the gate way
of Peak district to the town of Buxton. Free time to explore the ancient Roman Spas, the opera
house. Free time to visit the town and enjoy. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 STEAM TRAIN BOAT RIDE ON LAKE WINDERMERE AMBERSIDE GRASMERE
KESWICK
This morning we take a heritage steam train ride form Haverthwaite Railway to Lakeside. Followed by
a boat ride to Windermere. Later drive towards Amberside and visit the ionic Bridge House, the
smallest house in Cumbria. Continue towards Grasmere village to drive along the shores of Lake
Grasmere. We drive past the Nab Cottage, the home of a famous British poet & author Thomas de
Quincey, and a close friend of William Wordsworth a poet too. Later continue pass the Dove Cottage
where William Wandsworth used to live. Stop at the famous village of Grasmere, known for its
Grasmere Gingerbread and its links to William Wordsworth. Later continue to the Derwent water, a
stop at the Lakeside near the town of Keswick for free time to explore the area.

Day 03 CHESTER WALLS CHESTER ROMAN AMPHITHEATRE LONDON (440KMS)
Today you head towards Chester. Visit the largest amphitheatre of Britain in Chester. Free time to
walk and explore the town by visiting the unique built halftimbered galleries of Chester Rows and
walkalong the famous Chester walls. The only city in Britain that retains the full circuit of its ancient
defensive walls. Free time to visit the town and enjoy. Late afternoon, return to London where the
tour ends bid farewell to all friends you have made on the tour..
